Multimedia exposition
Important notification
As of 8th April 2013, the multimedia exposition will be closed to visitors due to some reconstruction works.
These works will not affect the brewery tours, which will continue to take place without restrictions.

The multimedia exposition called The Story of Budweiser Beer is a part of the Budweiser Budvar, NC Visitors centre, which was opened in April 2005. The exposition vividly depicts the history of brewing in České Budějovice.
The tour starts with a large-screen projection showing how beer is made inside a copper brewing pan and it continues with a virtual trip in the cabin of a mining elevator to the depth of 300 meters where there lies a source of unique water used for making Budweiser Budvar beer. The following Historical Hall takes the visitors back to the year 1265 when the town of České Budějovice was founded and at the same time the tradition of brewing beer in this town started. The next stop is the Gothic-Renaissance Log Cabin with the medieval brewing trade exposition.
The impact technology has had on brewing beer is portrayed in the Hall of Industrial Age which also introduces the visitors to the foundation of the Czech Stock Brewery, the direct predecessor of today's Budweiser Budvar. The Hall of the Twentieth Century describes the key moments in the history of Budweiser Budvar. The exposition reaches its end with the presentation of the success of Budweiser Budvar beer in the world and a humorous 3D movie about the origin and authenticity of Budweiser Budvar beer.

- The exposition commentary is available in Czech, German, English, French and Russian (to combine languages or to change a language during the tour is not possible)
- Apart from other attractions the exposition consists of a virtual trip by a lift down to an artesian well, 3D cinema, holograms and insights into the history of brewing beer in České Budějovice including a visit to a medieval burgher's house and detailed information about the development of the brewery Budweiser Budvar, NC.
- We accept cash, invoice or credit card payment (Visa, Euro-Master card, JCB, Diners Club, American Express). In case of bank transfer - invoicing the order must include the company identification number, VAT number, addresses and bank connection.

- Visitors who are younger than 18 years must be accompanied by parents or a responsible person (teacher, legal guardian). Children younger than 3 years are not recommended to enter the brewery.
